a symbol of protection when travelling on all forms of transport.
Many whales in an area often meant an absense of sharks. It
also shows empathy for conservational issues. Strength but
sensitivity. Whales were often represented as an example of
family love, with the mother and calf always side by side
and touching at every opportunity.
Dolphin
Dolphin is a
symbol of playfulness, harmony and friendship - a free spirit.
Dolphins in large schools often attacked sharks that got close
to Maori canoes. Shows affinity to the sea and nature. Provides
